Mud - its not just for pies anymore!
We here at Mud Addicts are gearing up for the 2009 Mudstock event this weekend at Mud Creek Off Road Park in Jacksonville TX. The event opens at noon Thursday and lasts until the final mud-hole has been wallowed dry Sunday.
Jacksonville, Texas is best known for its world famous tomatoes, weekly rodeos, Southern Baptists and of course... Mudstock.
Held at the 2000-acre Mud Creek Off-Road Park, ATV fanatics from all over North America flock here in droves with modified quads in tow, ready to challenge the mud.
We’re not talking your every day mud puddle, but about the biggest, deepest, sloppiest Olympic sized pool of swamp mud ever. This event will be the second major event half of the Mud Addicts team has attended and if you have never experienced this before, well being able to witness one modified quad after another stall, sputter and come to rest halfway across the mud pit is a humbling experience to say the least!
For the participants anticipating their time to make the run, the reality of what is likely to happen hits them like a freight train in an undescribable expression plastered on their faces.
So pull on those mud kicker's, load your ride and meet us at 2009 Mudstock and get completely mud covered, because that's what Mudder's do!
